The Star of David

The July 1, 1998 Star of David

On July 1, 1998, there was a Star of David formed in the sky by the planets in our solar system forming two interlocking triangles. One triangle was all in air signs. This was the air Grand Trine and it was formed by Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius, Venus in Gemini and the Moon is Libra. The interpretation for this Grand Trine has a lot to do with relationships and loving well. (Please note the blue triangle.) The other triangle was a combination of fire and water. The fire planets were Mercury in Leo and Pluto in Sagittarius. The one water planet was Jupiter in very late degree of Pisces. The interpretation for this Grand Trine had a lot to do with our belief system. (Please note the red triangle.)

There were three planets which are not a part of the Star of David configuration per se, but helped to form two t-squares to the other planets. These planets, Saturn, (which squares both Neptune and Mercury forming a fixed t-square), and Mars and the Sun, (which square Jupiter and the Moon respectively), are noted in green. There were t-squares in the 1990, 1992, and both of the 1996 Twin Stars. The only Star of David this decade without a t-square ccurred in 1995.

Interpretation for this particular Star of David
  1. We will see love and relationships as a part of the spiritual path or a valid path of its own. This focus on relating well will have an intense effect on those who pursue this path of spiritual development. It is possible that many past relationship issues can be resolved. President Clinton and zipgate involving Monica Lewinski called our attention to relationships and what they are really supposed to be about. Viagra goes on the market. The euro is introduced as the common currency in Europe. (Astrological indications: Pluto is in opposition to Venus and they both square the node. The Moon is in Libra.)
  2. Mental confusion and frustration regarding conceptuality will occur especially if we look to authority figures for approval or definition or even truth. President Clinton plays with words denying "sexual relations with that woman," but later had to admit to misconduct. Turning inward, on our own, can lead to a breakthrough to clear knowing. This inward movement may appear to touch on the irrational at times as we move past reality as we know it and into spaceless and timeless dimensions. The mind and heart move deeper and deeper into the mystical realm and farther away from a dependency on linear thinking. (Astrological indications: Mercury in Leo squared by Saturn and opposed by Neptune. At the same time, the Moon is trined to Neptune and Uranus.)
  3. We will put words into action and not always in the most traditional way or standard way. For this reason, our ethics, and perhaps our motives will be questioned. What is considered "normal" or the right way to do things, will be less clear. Jesse Ventura, a wrestler is elected govenor of Minnesota. Jack Kervorkian is arrested for assisted suicided and eventually convicted of administering a controlled substance. (Astrological indications: Mars in Gemini is out of bounds by declination and square to Jupiter.)
  4. We will grow as much through tension as we grow through harmony. The dynamics of conflict are very strong, but resolution, though hard fought, will lead us to new understanding and new forms of union. The Columbine tragedy causes us to seek ways to protect our children in schools. The Mother's March on Washington draws huge crowds seeking gun control. (Astrological indications: There is both a mutable and a cardinal t-square attached to each of the Grand Trines.)

Task and Learning Tool

The task is to master relationships with honesty and sacredness. Relationships are the hardest yogic path you will ever follow. The way you relate to others has great spiritual import.
