A horary chart is used to answer a specific question such as will I get this job, is this a good house to buy, where is my lost ring, etc. In horary astrology, the time that the question is stated also the time that the answer is born. By calculating an astrological chart of the time, date and place of the question, an astrologer can generally provide an accurate answer.

Chart interpretation for astrology students: The jewelry is most likely not in your home, but in another's home, probably your parents. The ruler of the 2nd house of possessions is in the 8th house of other's possessions, indicating that rings and necklaces are not where they belong and are probably with someone else. The ruler of the 8th house of others is Venus in Capricorn, the sign of parents. Even in your parents' house, the jewelry is not out in the open and not where it belongs. The jewels are in a very unusual spot. Either you or your mother had them last. It is difficult to tell which since you both have the same ruler in this case, but I would suspect you if I had to make a choice. The jewelry is most likely in an upper room, (second floor, not attic), in a wardrobe, closet or with clothing. Most likely it is in a bedroom. It is not near the floor, but higher up.
